Here's a sneak peek at a new product (to honor that new baby in your life)... do you like it?
At the risk of sounding like a Care Bear, I can't seem to get enough of rainbows lately. (I told you that made me sound slightly insane.)
I've been seeing them pop up as decorative touches in nursery decor and am loving the look, especially when done simply as part of a kid's room with a neutral or black & white color pallete.
In a bold move, I took a shot at designing this piece in that rare pocket of time when both kids were doing A-OK on their own. Let's just say that this scene of bliss was fleeting...
It quickly devolved into a certain 3 year old all up in my craft supplies, but not before she made this lovely work of art, above. I'm not completely satisfied with the final design yet... I have a few ribbon configurations I'm still playing around with.
This is the top contender but I don't think it will pack well in the recycled paper mailers I use. Thinking about shipping during the design process is something I didn't consider the first time around (but I know better this time!).
Looking forward to sharing the finished product with all of you and adding it to the shop very soon.
